Burlington Broughton Moor stone has high abrasion resistance, compressive strength, flexural strength and modulus of elasticity (see Table 1). Broughton Moor stone also has good slip resistance, making it suitable for flooring and exterior paving. |

Broughton Moor stone has good weather resistance with low water absorption properties. It is non-porous and will not delaminate in use; it is also resistant to atmospheric pollution, acid and sea spray and is unaffected by common chemicals. |
