Product Data Sheet

Kirkby
Kirkby stone is an even blue grey colour throughout.

Kirkby stone has been used for generations to provide walling, flooring, roof coverings, cills and copings. Architects and designers around the world have long taken advantage of its natural beauty, durability and adaptability to create classic weather resistant details and surface finishes. The richness of Kirkby stone makes it ideal for use in interior furniture and fittings, whether in traditional or modern design schemes.

Design guidance, details and sample clauses for the specification of Kirkby stone are available in a series of Burlington brochures.

Burlington can supply Kirkby stone in a variety of smooth and textured finishes (sample cards showing the finishes are available from Burlington).
Product Characteristics
Density: 2747kg/m3

Fire: Kirkby stone is non-combustible.
Gases & Liquids: Kirkby stone has good weather resistance with low water absorption properties. It is non-porous and will not delaminate in use; it is also resistant to atmospheric pollution, acid and sea spray and is unaffected by common chemicals.
