Natural Paddlestones are crushed slate aggregate graded as oversize in dimensions between 80mm and 150mm for use in screescapes, water features, dry riverbeds, aquatics and weed suppression. Natural Paddlestones are especially effective when used in conjunction with the smaller grades of mulch to create a typical Lakeland landscape.
The natural beauty of slate with its rugged hardwearing properties makes for an outstanding decorative aggregate. Due to the flat shaped nature of the material there is far less surface movement once laid than with other stone aggregates, whilst still maintaining excellent drainage properties.
Natural Paddlestones are available in Blue Grey and Westmorland Green.
Coverage approx. 15m² per tonne @ a depth of 50mm.
Available in bags and loose bulk tipper loads.
