Clerkenwell Design Week

We are delighted to be supporting the SCIN Gallery at the Clerkenwell Design Week, taking place from 22nd – 24th May. Together with the SCIN Gallery we will be showcasing our range of exquisite British natural stone.

Whether used internally or externally, Burlington’s highly-skilled stone engineers craft a diverse range of luxurious and signature British natural stone products that exude the ultimate in opulent quality and permanence.

With the recent introduction of Kirkstone Brathay Blue/Black, Kirkstone Silver Green and Kirkstone Sea Green into our product portfolio, the colour range now includes eleven sumptuous stones together with a range of smooth and textured finishes. Using skilled British craftsmen with almost 175 years of experience, commercial and domestic customers both in the UK and in international markets will be able to choose from a greater and diverse range of British stone products.

Together with the introduction of new products such as strip and square mosaics and British tumbled stone setts, Burlington Stone are able to offer an outstanding range of standard product lines and truly bespoke pieces, all of which are limited only be the imagination.

To add an even more contemporary finish to the wet room, bathroom and swimming pool, Burlington Stone have introduced an exciting new range of mosaics to their product offering, complementing their existing range of flooring, vanity units, splash backs, wall cladding and bath surrounds, all suitable for use in today’s bathrooms, shower areas, wet and steam rooms.

Marking 48 years of Service

It was with mixed emotions that Burlington Stone thanked Terry Armistead, Production Manager, for his dedication to the business over the past 48 years and to wish him well in his retirement at a special party on Friday 5th May 2017.  Having joined Burlington Stone at the age of 15, Terry has played a key role within the production facility at Kirkby-in-Furness.  The vast knowledge and experience he has gained over the past 48 years, along with his “can-do” attitude means he will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.  Luckily, Terry has kindly agreed to continue to work for Burlington for a couple of days per week.
