Burlington Stone exhibiting at the Surface Design Show in London from 7-9th February 2012

Come and visit us on Stand 144!

Following the success achieved at last year’s Surface Design Show in London, we are once again exhibiting at the London Business Design Centre this week, highlighting the beauty of our natural stone and the skill of our British craftsmen to shape and create beautiful finishes from stone laid down in the English Lake District over 350 million years ago.
This year, we have joined together with the SCIN Gallery (home of our London Showroom) to showcase the transformation of the naturalness of our products into practical, yet elegant and rich coloured stone.
Please come and visit us at the Burlington Stone and SCIN Gallery stand number 144 from 7-9th February at the London Business Design Centre.

Marking 48 years of Service

It was with mixed emotions that Burlington Stone thanked Terry Armistead, Production Manager, for his dedication to the business over the past 48 years and to wish him well in his retirement at a special party on Friday 5th May 2017.  Having joined Burlington Stone at the age of 15, Terry has played a key role within the production facility at Kirkby-in-Furness.  The vast knowledge and experience he has gained over the past 48 years, along with his “can-do” attitude means he will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.  Luckily, Terry has kindly agreed to continue to work for Burlington for a couple of days per week.
