Burlington’s British natural stone on display in Italy

Burlington Stone will be exhibiting again this year at the Marmomacc 48th International Trade Fair for Stone Design and Technology, which is taking place in Verona from 25th – 28th September 2013.  After the interest generated at last year’s event, we are looking forward to another successful show.

Burlington Stone will be exhibiting all eleven of their beautiful natural stones – with the flooring showcasing the entire range.  Images of these stones being used in projects around the world will also be on display.  The inclusion of the recently introduced Kirkstone product proposition at the show offers visitors the chance to see the Kirkstone Sea Green, Kirkstone Silver Green and Kirkstone Brathay Blue / Black stones.

We welcome you to visit us on Stand B13, Hall 8.

Marking 48 years of Service

It was with mixed emotions that Burlington Stone thanked Terry Armistead, Production Manager, for his dedication to the business over the past 48 years and to wish him well in his retirement at a special party on Friday 5th May 2017.  Having joined Burlington Stone at the age of 15, Terry has played a key role within the production facility at Kirkby-in-Furness.  The vast knowledge and experience he has gained over the past 48 years, along with his “can-do” attitude means he will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.  Luckily, Terry has kindly agreed to continue to work for Burlington for a couple of days per week.
