BALI show 2012

Continuing from the success enjoyed at this year’s Holker Garden Festival, Burlington Stone will be exhibiting at the BALI show next week in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

The 2012 Landscaping Show, which is taking place on the 19th and 20th June attracts Landscape designers and architects from throughout the UK.  With the launch of the Burlington Stone tumbled natural stone setts, visitors will be able to see and feel the luxurious and diverse range of products offered by Burlington Stone.  The Landscaping product offering from Burlington Stone continues to grow and with new products being added to the portfolio, visitors will have a chance to incorporate the stunning yet functional stone into their plans, bringing their designs to life.

The British Tumbled stone setts are a revolutionary product from Burlington Stone, which is a unique British, and crafted, natural stone product, offering a superior solution to the driveway and patio.  As the tumbled stone setts can be laid on a screeded bed as a flexible paving system, this ensures that installation time can be reduced by half, but also the overall laid cost will be reduced.

Shown at the Holker Garden festival last weekend and to add an even more contemporary finish to the swimming pool, wet room and bathroom, Burlington Stone have introduced an exciting new range of mosaics to their product range.  Offering both square and strip mosaics in a number of different natural British stone colours, Burlington Stone are able to present the perfect solution for creating an oasis of tranquillity.

Please come and visit our stand number T70 / T71 at the show.

Marking 48 years of Service

It was with mixed emotions that Burlington Stone thanked Terry Armistead, Production Manager, for his dedication to the business over the past 48 years and to wish him well in his retirement at a special party on Friday 5th May 2017.  Having joined Burlington Stone at the age of 15, Terry has played a key role within the production facility at Kirkby-in-Furness.  The vast knowledge and experience he has gained over the past 48 years, along with his “can-do” attitude means he will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.  Luckily, Terry has kindly agreed to continue to work for Burlington for a couple of days per week.
